it fired up. ![]() A fire ravages at PLM on a Saturday noon. We were having a scrutinized discussion. Our classmates were go ing different ways about the topic. They were being rude to each other and suddenly, the bell of the building which is parallel to our building rung. We all thought that it was unofficial and some sort of an exercise but when we saw students in the corridor was running and we smell smoke, we started to vacate our room. We were on the 3rd floor then but no one paniced because the fire was 100m away from us. On my way, I saw lotsa fire trucks. They were really in a hurry. I didn't come closer to the incident. On the other hand, I went to McDo to meet Airil. We ate lunch and went home together. 0 comments

Block 35 We had our Foundation Day last June 18 - 19, 2008. There were no classes held. I got sick on the first day. There are lots of competition but I don't get much pictures. I only brought my cam on the second day so all of the pictures were taken on the second day, June 19. There was this parade around PLM. We were so bored. 0 comments

isang linggo sa pamantasan. for other's information, I'm attending Gen. Education Course at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila). Why Gen. Ed? Annually, freshmen must take up this program before they proceed to their desire field. It is use to base the capabilities of students whether they have the 'brain' to face the miticulous training at Pamantasan. Now, expect me to post during mondays or tuesdays. It is for one thing, I need to concentrate myself into studies. I have no such enough time to check the internet from time to time because even in my studying time, I lack. Career-in ang pagiging scholar. Maybe, you're thinking na napaka-OA ko. I'm not being OA, I'm just complying with the rules. What rules? It's the rules regarding the curriculum of the school. They are so strict. Summer classes are not/ never offered to the students who failed during the year. You know what will happen to those students? They are kicked out of the school. Worse, they need to repeat first year in other schools because the subjects offered by the Pamantasan is so unique that it will not be credited to other school (maybe some). Now, let's talk about the grades. In order to meet Accountancy, I must have a General Weight Average of 1.85 (way to high, right?) I think it's equivalent to 88-90%. It's not just Accountancy, Nursing is a much harder battle. One must get a GWA of 1.75. I must use my time wisely. I got modules that we will use for one sem only but it was really thick just for one sem. Our midterm is on last week of July, I guess. Blockmates a.k.a classmates. Well, I'm with new hommies. Joke. hindi gangsta mga tao dun. Honestly, panis tlga laway ko nung first 3 days. Nahihiya talaga ako. Oo, meron akong hiya kahit konti. Bwahahaha. Just imagine, I'm the only one who went to that university in our batch. My classmates mostly came from public schools in Manila. We don't have the Valedictotians and Salutatorians in our class, but the 4th Honorables are there. You know what, I admire them most inspite of garnering the same spot during our graduations because, they're in public. There are differences in culture. They have 7-10 sections in their batch and we only have three. So, they have more competitions. That's why I admire them. There are this two people that talked a lot with. They told me very fascinating stories that lack my jaw for a minute. One was Joannah, she became a delegate in South Korea for the APEC Robotics Competition. They invented the JR Robot (Janitor Robot.) I think, they were featured on TV. Well, it was 2006 pa. Luckily, they won pa the first prize. They were two in the team then yung partner niya is from Novaliches High. Ang liit tlga ng mundo. Another was a member of Manila Dance Group. They were able to perform in Taiwan. She also shared na she has ballet lessons from MDG.It means na marunong siyang magsplit at magtiptoe. Ang sakit nga daw e. Tapos, she know a lot of dance. She's a professional dancer. She's Kris. I have classes from Monday 'til Saturdays except Tuesdays. That's why I have free time on Tuesdays. We wear civillian temporarily now. We were given 2 mos. to ensure our uniforms. So, sa August 11, full-time PLMayer na ako. weh? hahhah From North to South, I'm travelling 3-4 hours a day. Every morning, I have my service. It's our family friend who works at Manila Hotel. Opposite bound, I'll be communting via jeep. I'm saving money for the future. You know, it really helps a lot. Well, my college life started like this, I hope it will be better each day. 3 comments

CHOPPED I had an haircut last Saturday. I wasn't able to jot it down here because I'm so busy for the opening of school. Before.. Well, I cut my hair for hygienic purposes. Having a looong hair looks untidy for me. I don't have that nice hair. Another is having hot season. I'll be in college in a few days. My dismissal time is 11:30 so imagine the heat I'm bathing with. Talking about college, am I really ready? Hmmmm... Maybe now, I'll answer No. I'm not that prepared, approximately 45% ready. Yes, I bought the basics but I haven't prepared myself yet. 2 days to go! Obviously, cramming days are back. I have 55% to spell ready. P.S. We just love the sky. I took this one last Friday. Note: I just forced him to pose like that. 2 comments

klutzy I'm am so clumsy. I made 2 acts of clumsiness yesterday. I know that on my age right now, I must be responsible enough about my things especially, my money. We went to PLM for the said enrollment for the CWTS. Unluckily, I wasn't be able to belong to the first 500 to enroll. It spelled out ROTC to me! :'( I have a thousand at hand. I separate my fares from my budget. I placed 100-peso bill at the pocket of my pouch and when I checked the pouch, I didn't notice the money. When I was counting my money, it appeared to my notice that I already lost it. I may be dropped it the first time I opened that pouch. Poor me. The second act was the load my mother loaded me. My mother used to load my All Text 20 everytime I went out of our house. She only loads me Economy (30) whenever I ask for it. Again, without my prior notice, she loaded my 30 to register for Unli20. All alng, I thought that my load was All Text so I kept on texting everybody. This morning, my mother told me to pass a load to her and I found myself asking, "what did you load me yesterday?" Hay. I hate the the feeling of committing these acts. It's so hard. I think God served these as His lessons for me. And I swear, I learned. 1 comments |
